"In Baku, compensation for demolished buildings is regulated by the Ministry of Finance based on market value. The head of the Baku City Executive Power, Eldar Azizov, stated that new buildings will be constructed in place of the old ones, contributing to the city's development.
Out of 130 buildings listed, documents for 65 have been submitted to the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture. Residents will receive compensation and vacate their homes. In the first phase, the buildings to be demolished are located in the Binagadi, Khatai, Nizami, Nasimi, Sabunchu, and Sabail districts. Once the inventory is completed, the buildings will be demolished within a year."
